My wife occasionally joins me when I'm fishing on a Highland loch, just for the ride and the view, and it's surprising what you'll see when you're drifting quietly in an open boat.
One sunny day on mirror-calm Loch Rannoch I put down my rod, we sat back to soak it all in, and were privileged to watch an osprey swoop down and take a trout just yards away... a moment I'll never forget.
